Spider Mum

I love this crazy flower, the colors of this one caught my eye at the florist. Spider mums remind me of a marine plant really, a beauty under the sea.

Hubby John and I had an awesome honeymoon! It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure! I had a hard time choosing pics to post, so here's a bunch...
I always sleep on the plane, but insist on the window seat ;) John woke me up to capture this first pic, "look at the clouds!" then "look at the water!"


When we win the lotta, we will build a house here.

Rum Point, a fantastic place to visit and head out for some adventures at sea!

We had to pullover to see this tree! There was no sign or anything, maybe some local artist?

My husband was on that tiny boat, headed out to deep sea fish. Eventually the clouds went away, phew!

$20 underwater camera, well worth it....I love this shot! We went swimming w/ sting rays! It was so great. The next day we went swimming w/ dolphins, but unfortunately, no camera's allowed (they hit ya up for that afterwards w/ "paparazzi pics")
NYC...almost back to Connecticut, back to reality!

Purple Iris

One of my favorite blogs is coco + kelley , an inspirational place for interior decor and fashion. Cassandra's latest post, Purple's Reign, inspired me to post these iris photos. Pantone even selected the color of the year for 2008 to be Blue Iris. Although, my subjects vary in shade, I'd have to agree purple came out the winner.

Ellen's Shower

It's all about the details...pretty flowers, polka dot bows, cute {and practical} favors and more, made up her bridal shower! This Friday, I'm shooting Ellen and Charlie's wedding. I can't wait!

Washington, New Hampshire

In August, I spent a weekend in NH with family and friends. We had a great time relaxing at the house, driving through the woods on quads and roaming the lake on sea-doos. As always, we did plenty of eating and drinking too! The area is really peaceful and beautiful. I can't wait to go back next year! Here are a few of my favorite shots...
